Newsflash! Eating local is IN!

Saturday morning breakfast. Something we have looked forward to every morning this week as we suck back our coffee and wolf down our toast at 6:15AM... this bfast was enjoyed at 9:30AM... as it should be.

Stacks is a local breakfast diner type place. I had the blueberry wheat germ pancakes and Josh had the Huevos Rancheros. Both = delicious! With coffee as you wait service and plenty of people watching due to it's center-of-town location, it was defiinitely an enjoyable morning.

After our bellies were full we decided to take a stroll around town. We for sure weren't alone - downtown was a flurry with moms and strollers, joggers, dog walkers and their Starbucks, and breakfast seekers. Our stroll led us to the local library and we ended up getting library cards. How local are we?

Our next stop was Home Depot to scout out the gardening sceen - we have big plans for our backyard but more of that in our next edition... to be continued...

a great place for Saturday breakfast: Los Gatos Cafe on N. Santa Cruz Blvd (another local fav). Just recently I've started a wonderful relationship with the apricot french toast and I think this one is definitely a keeper.
