Ruby experienced her first rugby game on Saturday... it was a blistery day, so she was bundled up but still on the sidelines cheering on pops (actually, we were outside before Josh's game started and then watched from the car when the rain came...). What a trooper... and her dad's #1 fan.
Thank you Auntie Kim for an evening where Josh and I could enjoy food, wine, and adult conversation and absolutely no spit up, dirty diapers, or baby talk. You're a gem!
Kim also took some photos for our first ever family Christmas card... the results are in: she's AMAZING!! Thank you, Kim!!
She's too cute! Scenario: I came home from work and was popping in and out of her line of vision from behind the couch (and yes, making sasquatch type noises... hey - whatever works!). Enjoy!
Temperatures in the 50s and sunny are much more pleasant than negative 30 with 3 feet of snow. Good work, Winnipeg!
Elf costumes (that at one point belonged to Josh!!) are adorable!
Great grandma loves her some great granddaughter...
Josh's family is huge. With cousins and aunts and uncles it's like at least 20 people big. Ruby is now spoiled rotten and will not just hang out on the floor anymore with her toys. She must be held at all times. Trying to break that habit...
We are still really bad at remembering to get out our camera and take pictures... these are the only pictures we took the whole time. Oh vey. We need an intervention!! Maybe Grandma and Grandpa Dunlop will email us some of theirs if we're lucky :)
Happy half birthday, Ruby!! Our little bee is six months old today. She's eating rice cereal like a champ and is getting ready to move onto veggies! She will be an international traveler of this week - we're actually in Canada right now - and she's become more screechy, er, I mean vocal as of late. As you'll see in some of the pictures, she's into the throw-back-the-head laugh/squeal. Too precious that one...
