i hate working out...

... and so does Ruby. Her head is so heavy, it's a work out lifting that thing up! And as you'll see, she's pretty vocal about her feelings about tummy time...

The wedding... it was fantastic! Laura and Benjamin really know how to put on an event! The location, the food, the details... all perfect. It was a wonderful time and Ruby may have slept through the whole thing, but I'm sure she enjoyed herself as well...

From CA to PA...

Our friends, the Herricks, moved out to PA a few years ago... we've been able to see them a couple times since they've moved - the last time being when Graham was only 2 months old - so seeing them this time was so fun because Graham is SO MUCH BIGGER!! Look at that belly! I just wanted to squeeze him and pinch his cubby thighs. He's 9 months old now and too precious!

we made it!

... and Ruby did WONDERFUL! She slept the whole plane ride out to Ohio and most of the plane ride back. Everyone thought she was adorable and such a good baby... both which are true. We had a LOVELY time in Ohio at Laura's wedding. In true Laura style, the details were all planned to the T and it was quite the affair to remember. We also were able to visit with some dear Santa Barbara friends who now live in PA - who knew all those states over there are so close together?!?! It was lovely and the trip out there was totally worth it...

We made it! (Funny story - we got off the plane, organized ourselves, got Ruby changed, made our way out to the curb to get a shuttle to the rental car place, saw the shuttle pulling up, then realized we forgot to pick up our checked luggage... oh sleep deprived parents. So forgetful...)

O-HI-O!

We're leaving to go to a dear friend's wedding in Ohio... and I'll have about 28 extra grey hairs after this trip. What was I thinking?? Traveling with a 3 month old on a red eye to Cleveland?? I was going to go by myself with Ruby at one point... man, am I glad I wised up and bought Josh a ticket!! Well we're off... tonight until Monday. I've set up a couple video posts for you to tide you over until we get back -- get ready for cuteness!!

THREE months!

Oh how she's grown. She officially has 2 chins, a big tummy, some killer biceps, rolly thighs, and bubbles like crazy. She's perfect... and fabulous!
